Jorge Alberto Quiroz, 84, passed away on February 21, 2020, in Novi, Michigan at home surrounded by his family. Jorge was born February 26, 1935 in Iquitos, Peru. Beloved husband of Nelly for 60 years, loving father of Nelly (James), Jorge, Ana (Gordon), Juan (Rose). Beloved abuelito to Ana Michelle (Kim), Aaron (Stephanie), Adam (Jessica), Jimmy, Miles, Gordon Jr., Scarlett, Cruz, Diaz. Great-grandfather to Amelia. Papito to Maria, Jorge, Soledad, and Gonzalito. Preceded in death by his parents Juan and Victoria Quiroz, and his sisters, Zoila, Yolanda, Elvia, Martha, and his brother Sergio.
Dedicated physician in Peru and the United States for 50 years.
Visitation at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home at 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi, Michigan, on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Rosary service at 7:00 PM.
In state, Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 10:00 AM, followed by Mass at Catholic Church of the Holy Family, 24305 Meadowbrook Road, Novi Michigan, 48375.
A luncheon will be held immediately after funeral service at Big Tommy Parthenon, located at 40380 Grand River Avenue, Novi Michigan 48375.
