John D. Ludwig, passed on Monday, October 18, 2021, at the age of 67 in Novi, Michigan. Loving husband to Corina Ludwig, dear father to Matthew (Shae) Ludwig, and the late Brendan Ludwig. Grandfather to Avery Ludwig.

John was a devout family man who was known for his contagious laugh and kindheartedness. He took great pride in being a grandfather and always looked forward to his granddaughter visiting which he said was the best part of his day.

Growing up, John enjoyed playing football for his high school team in Upper Arlington, Ohio and he went on to play rugby at Purdue University. As an adult, John coached Novi High School lacrosse and loved to golf. He enjoyed watching sports, especially college football. John loved to travel with his wife Corina spending summers in Siesta Key.

Before retiring, as a mechanical engineer, John worked as a technical sales representative for The Lincoln Electric for 37 years.

Visitation at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Avenue, Novi, 248-348-1800 on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
