Jerry Carlyle Burt age 82, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2018.
Born on November 30, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the child of the late Kenneth and Marrian Burt and the beloved husband of Michaela (Mike) Burt, his wife of 56 years. He is survived by his three children, their spouses and 7 grand children. Ellen Hulverson (daughter) and son-in-law Scott Hulverson and their children Melissa and Becky Hulverson . Ken Burt (son) and his children Jacqueline, Natalie and Evan Burt. Keith Burt (son) and daughter-in-law Jennifer Burt and their children Madison and Morgan Burt.
Jerry attended Redford High School and Wayne State University. He then served in the US Navy from 1958-1962. He retired from Ford Motor in 1995 after 33 years with the company.
Visitation is at the O'Brien-Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River Ave, Novi, MI 48375 on Monday from 2 - 8 p.m. Celebration of Jerry's life will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
