Fedorka, Irene – 90 years young, formerly of Wixom, died at Wellbridge of Novi on January 30, 2018 with her loving family by her side. She was born on November 9, 1927 in Langeloth, PA to Bruno and Lenora (Fiorelli) Ceresa. Beloved wife of the late George(2013).
A loving and devoted mother to Michael & Debbie, Bob & Kathy, Kathleen & Enrico Digirolamo, Mary Beth & William St. John and Thomas & Suzanne. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one on the way, along with her brother, LeRoy (Pat) Ceresa.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor & Harold Goodwin.
Irene graduated from Pershing High School in Detroit. George and Irene enjoyed traveling. They visited Europe and spent many winters in Florida and Arizona. She also enjoyed painting, singing and spending time with her family and friends. She was instrumental in starting a Variety Show which showcased senior talent to Novi which provided entertainment for many citizens (senior and otherwise) for Oakland and Wayne counties.
The family will celebrate her life at O'Brien-Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Novi 248-348-1800 on Friday Feb. 2, 2018 from 2-8pm.
