Helen Lofft

September 7th, 1930 - August 23rd, 2021

Beloved wife of the later James Lofft for 60 wonderful years of marriage.

Loving and nurturing Grandma of James (Danielle Kincer) Lang, Nicole (Jason) Bajas, Mitchell (Samantha Noles) Lang, Rachel (Joel Hauser) Lang. Cherished great grandmother of Paisley Grace Lang. Dear sister of Angie (the late George) Panzoff, the late Carl (Nada) Dimoff, the late Mary Barton and James (Kathleen) Dimoff.

Helen began her career working for the city of Dearborn as a secretary in the mayor's office and the Dearborn Police Department, where she met her beloved Jim, who was a Dearborn police officer at the time. Helen worked a number of years for Dearborn Public Schools, while she and her late husband resided in Dearborn Heights, where they raised their daughters, later relocating to Novi.

Helen traveled the world with her husband and soulmate Jim as members of the Nomads Travel Club. She was a doting grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren baking, playing kickball, attending their sporting events, and making world class pancakes. Helen was an avid reader, gardener, and swimmer. She was very proud of her Macedonian heritage and devoted her life to her family and friends.

A visitation for Helen will take place on Thursday August 26th from 3pm-7pm at O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home at 41555 Grand River Ave. Novi, MI 48375. A funeral service will take place the following day Friday August 27th at 10am at the O'Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home.

Helen will be laid to rest at Grandlawn Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan following her funeral service on Friday August 27th.
