Millnamow Harry P. age 97 of Farmington Hills died August 17, 2015 at St. Mary Mercy Hospital. Harry was born in Canton, Ohio, Oct.20, 1917, the son of the late Harry A. and Catherine B. Millnamow. Harry moved to Detroit in 1936 and entered the insurance business. He retired as President of Insurance Exchange Agency in 1980. Harry served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II with the highly decorated 483rd Bomb Group. He flew 28 missions in a B-17 and his squadron sustained a casualty rate of over 40%. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Helen in 2003. He will lie in state at Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 4300 Walnut Lake Rd., West Bloomfield, MI at 10:30 am Thursday, August 20th. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 am. Graveside services will be held at St. Ignatius Cemetery, Pringle, PA at a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the charity of your choice.
