Gordon Edward Griesemer
Loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, who was foundational to his family, went home to be with his Lord and Savior and wife, on Thursday, February 14, 2019. Gordon was born on June 14, 1937 in West Bend, Wisconsin, the son of Raymond and Ruth (Held) Griesemer, both of whom precede him in passing. Gordon married Carol Griesemer, his lovely high school soprano singer sweetheart on September 7, 1957. Gordon is survived by his children: Lori (Richard) Tymrakiewicz, Mark (Lisa) Griesemer, Jennifer (Jeff) Bladow, and deceased Andrew Griesemer. He is also survived by grandchildren Andrea Griesemer, Justin and Brandon Griesemer, Nicolas (Cheyenne) Tymrakiewicz, and Jaclyn and Jessica Bladow and great-grandchildren Nikole and Tanner Tymrakiewicz. Brothers Wesley (Dorothy Ann) Griesemer and Stan (Ginny) Griesemer and respective families: Lisa (Brian) Riley, Kari Griesemer, Kevin Griesemer and Ryan (Julie) Griesemer and their children.

Gordon was a very knowledgeable and accomplished man as well as a Great Lakes boating and sport fishing enthusiast. He earned a bachelor's degree from Carroll Presbyterian College and then graduated with a masters from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He raised four children and ingrained the importance of being self-reliant and working hard towards goals including being a strong advocate for advanced education.

Gordon has been cremated and a private memorial was held in his remembrance.
