Gail DePodesta Perrin of Novi, Michigan, age 85; beloved wife of Kenneth Perrin, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021.
In addition to her dear Ken, she is survived by their children Jeffrey (Renee), Andrew (Sarah) and Kathryn Perrin (Jamie) Williams, and sister Nancy (Gary) Sabath and brother Frank DePodesta. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Lindsay and Hayden Perrin, Hannah and Julia Perrin, and Abigail, Lydia and Perrin Williams. She was predeceased by infant son Theodore James Perrin.
Gail was born on September 25, 1935 in Detroit, daughter of Frank and Alice (Barnabo) DePodesta. She graduated from Cooley High School and Michigan State University. She joined the J L Hudson company, where she worked until she became a mother.
Gail was always involved in various civic activities. She was a member of the Board of Directors of the Farmington YMCA, President of the Michigan League of Independent Schools, Board member of the Farmington Community Center, Embroiderers Guild of America, and the Highland Library Board. She also served on the Resident Advisory Council at Fox Run Village. She was a Stephen Minister and also a member of the Health Committee at Milford Presbyterian Church. She was involved in all elections as a Polling official from 1975 through 2013.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
