Fern Adeline Gutzeit, Age 93, passed away on May 1, 2020. Fern was born September 24, 1926 to the late Ella and Rudolph Schultz in Detroit. She married Robert on July 21, 1945 and they remained inseparable for over 71 years. Robert predeceased her in 2016. Robert and Fern also spent a great deal of time out of town with the Redford Travelers group. Together, they visited Florida and New York. Among there favorite places to travel became Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada.
She is the loving mother of Barbara (Joseph) Genovese, Patricia Gutzeit, Robert Gutzeit Jr., and Ronald (Margot Bloomfield) Gutzeit; proud grandmother of Saundra Shelton, Wendell (Carrie) Shelton Jr., Christina Welsh, Laura (Sam) Martin, and Christopher (Ferris Baehr) Gutzeit; great-grandmother to Brittney Welsh, Kaylea Welsh, Luke Martin, Abigail Martin and Roberta Gutzeit. Interment at Glen Eden Cemetery Memorial Park, Livonia.
