Van Dyke, Evelyn Mae. February 9, 2021 Age 90. Beloved wife of the late Donelle Frederick Van Dyke. Loving mother of Susan (Thomas) Doyle James (Joy) Van Dyke, Lori (Steve) Forshay and the late Edward DeLaurier. Grandmother of William (Caron) Benton, James (Bridget) Benton, David (Alley) Benton, Jessica Van Dyke, Tyler Van Dyke, Alexa Forshay, Amanda Forshay and Christopher De Laurier. Great-Grandmother of Andrew, Robert, Gabrielle, Camden and Alexandria Benton. Dear sister of the late Edward Slaughter. Evelyn was born in Mansfield, Louisiana on August 20, 1930 to the late Frank and Gertrude (Drosihn) Slaughter. Mrs. Van Dyke was very active at her church 1st Reform Church of Pompton Plains, NJ.
Evelyn was passionately dedicated to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her care and support were a constant for countless family members and friends.
