Information on Funerals and COVID-19
We are experiencing an unprecedented time in world history with the spread of the coronavirus. As the country, and those of us here in Michigan work to understand and stop the spread of COVID-19, we wanted to provide you with updates related to the virus’ impact on the families we serve. Like you, we take the health and safety of our families, our employees, and anyone who enters our building very seriously. We continue to follow and track the guidelines being developed by the CDC and state health care authorities, including social distancing best practices and requirements.
With that said, as we have since 1898 we are available 24/7 at 248-348-1800. Funeral services are continuing as needed based on your feedback, and in following the state guidelines for gatherings. Please know that we respect the decision of any family member and arrangements can be completed remotely rather than in person during this time. We encourage the use of our website for obituary information and on line, condolences. Given the inability to gather and honor a life at this time, please remember our bereavement counselor is available to speak with anyone and can be reached at 248-348-1800.
As more information comes out from healthcare experts and federal and state authorities, we will continue to assess if changes are necessary to our policies or events. We will follow any guidelines that are required by the healthcare agencies and governmental leaders. We are proud to have been serving families since 1898 and we will continue to do so in the days, years, and decades ahead.
We know there is a lot of confusion and misinformation so we believe it is important that we rely on the experts for the most up-to-date and accurate information. Below are some helpful links if you would like more information on COVID-19.
