The White Eagle represents a state of grace that is reached through inner work, understanding and passing the initiation tests that result from reclaiming our personal power. Eagle Medicine is the Power of the Great Spirit. It is the spirit of tenacity. It is the gift of clear vision with which one can truly see the things one sees. It is the patience to wait for the appropriate moment. It is to live in balance with heaven and earth. Eagle reminds us of our connection with the Great Spirit. It tells us that the universe is giving us the opportunity to fly above our life's worldly levels, or above the shadow of past realities. Eagle teaches us to look above in order to touch Grandfather Sun with our heart, to love the Shadow as much as the Light. Eagle asks us to grant ourselves permission to be free in order to reach the joy that our heart desires. Reclaiming our personal power.

When I left he said softly... “go shine your light”

#1 Mary Haggerty 2012-05-02 18:41 Dearest Bob and Mary and family,
It was forty-nine years ago this month that we moved to Rutland and we were quickly welcomed by both of you.We were 25 and you were 34 and 35..an older couple. We so realized we were all the same age in spirit. You were both so much fun to be with and so wise. How we grew to love you both.
When Ed and I decided to marry you were the first people we told after parents and children because we treasured you so much. Your response when we asked you to be our Best Man and Matron of Honor touched our hearts.
Bob ,We thank you from the very beginning ,for showing us how to be a beautiful family…How to be a loving ,gentle couple through sixty years. How to be a great Father and a great friend. We love you Bob and we will be with our friend Mary .
Mary Haggerty

#5 Edward Haggerty 2012-05-03 16:21 Dear Mary and Family,
With heavy heart I keep you all in prayer as you, Mary and Bob, have held so many in your prayers throughout the years. My "best man" , good friend, helper and encourager since 1972, is gone but still with us. Even though we are far away, we are still with you. I especially remember Bob's faithfulness to Manresa and his trust in God. Farewell to the Cardinall of Callaway, the Mayor of Rutland, Sweet Old Bob. Love, Ed

#8 Don & Mary Scheible 2012-05-06 03:07 Mary…
I am truly sorry that I couldn't be with you and the family to say goodbye to Bob. When I learned of his passing, I was in eastern Kentucky and our plans were thwarted when my flight was canceled. Bob was a dear
friend, both professionally and personally. His devotion to you and your wonderful family was inspirational. We will be forever grateful that God's plan had our paths cross with you, Bob and the entire James clan.
