Marian A. O'Donnell nee Sullivan, age 87.  Her beautiful soul left this earth peacefully in the presence of her family February 15, 2011.  Mother of Mary Margaret (Bill) Gulowski and proud and loving grandmother of Grace Catherine and Clare Margaret Gulowski. Predeceased by her parents John Joseph “Red Jack” and Mary Ellen (Gallagher) Sullivan, husband of 53 years Francis W. “Frank” O’Donnell, sister Rita Frances Sullivan, and many relatives, neighbors, and friends.  Also survived by sister-in-law Virginia (Schneider) O’Donnell and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Marian shared her love of God and Our Blessed Lady with everyone she knew and loved.  Her pride in her heritage showed in her “lilt of Irish laughter” her entire life.  She enjoyed her days working at Detroit’s Fisher Body and took great satisfaction in providing a loving home in Redford Township for Frank and Mary Margaret. The family asks that, as Marian loved to say, “Say an ‘Ave’ for me” and “Never say ‘good-bye’, say ‘until we meet again’”.

Visitation at O’Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River, Novi 248-348-1800 Sunday 2-9pm.  Instate Monday 9:30am at Our Lady of Victory Church 133 Orchard, Northville, until time of funeral liturgy at 10:00am.  Donations in Marian’s memory may be made to the Lutheran Home-Livonia 28910 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150.
